Etna Rosso DOC Le Sabbie dell’Etna Firriato

The Nerello Mescalese grape variety is grown at high altitudes on the northern slopes of the Etna volcano, in predominantly sandy soil, to produce this unique, traditional red wine. On the nose, it offers typically mineral notes, mature and elegant, alternating between intense and well-defined aromas of black currant, blueberry, plum jam, black cherry, licorice, pepper, and dried violet. The palate is rich, warm, and refined, consistently balanced with a satisfying and lingering finish. 14% abv
